Hopping on a flight back to Edinburgh with tonight, and I can’t wait to explore more of Scotland these next few weeks, hopefully with some autumn colours too :)

Still the craziest fall scene I’ve stumbled upon. Submerged trees in full fall foliage in a Gatorade blue glacial fed lake… like how does it get better? Some of my favorite drone photos to date on the old mavic 1 pro. Shamelessly resharing these every fall šŸ‚ don’t @ me.

Yukon and Northern BC in fall. Fall starts early here, I’m talking August, but it is stunning, valleys covered in yellow and orange and hardly any people there!

It’s tiny, like really tiny. PEI makes up about 0.06% of Canada , it’s smaller than Banff National Park, but somehow produces over a quarter of Canadas potatoes thanks to its fertile iron-rich red soil. Let me tell you the fries out there are damn good, especially when combined with the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had. (High praise from a Belgian btw)
But it’s also a lot more than potatoes; it has some of Canadas best sandy beaches, beautiful lighthouses, incredible seafood and cute and colourful little towns. It’s home to Anne of Green Gables and has one of the world’s longest bridges over ice covered water. Oh and it’s home to Cow’s ice cream šŸ¦
I’d say that 0.06% is punching well above its weight!

Off to Nova Scotia later this week so I dug up a few photos from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The historic town center is a UNESCO world heritage site and a very well preserved example of a British colonial settlement in North America. Tons of history here. Pretty beautiful spot too!

Where you can watch your dog run away for three days 🐶
Or so they say… lots of people thing Saskatchewan is just flat and ugly farmland, you might think that if you never leave highway 1 , but I promise you that if you look a little better and spend some time, you’d find a lot of beauty. I actually love taking photos in this province; the minimal scenes, endless skies, the wildlife, badlands and quirky little stops usually make for some interesting shots.

The smell of the forest after it rains, the lingering fog and deep greens, the sound of water dripping from the old growth trees… just a few things that make being on the west coast so special. It rains a lot, and that’s kind of what makes it so awesome.
Craving a walk through these forests at the moment.
