HAPPY 20 YEARS!!!!!!
Today marks 20 years since I filled out the paperwork to officially register WaCu Productions and begin a journey that would shape so much of my life.
Fresh out of university, armed with a hand-me-down camera from my grandfather, a passion for working with people, and a love for the outdoors, I never imagined where this adventure would take me. My grandfather was a photographer himself, and some of my fondest childhood memories are sitting beside the fireplace at our family cottage, flipping through photo albums filled with generations of family stories and special moments. When he gave me my first "real" camera, photography quickly became more than a hobby, it became a passion.
What started with a few family events and small projects grew into weddings, portraits, commercial work, videography, design, printing, custom apparel, and so much more. Along the way my wife and I moved back and fourth across Ontario, raised our amazing twins, weathered economic ups and downs, and even survived COVID. Through every challenge, WaCu adapted, evolved, and kept moving forward.
Looking back, I'm incredibly grateful to every client, friend, family member, and community that has supported us over the past two decades. Your trust has allowed us to do what we love while preserving memories, helping businesses grow, and telling stories through photos, video, and print.
As we celebrate 20 years, we're also looking ahead. 2026 will bring exciting changes, including the expansion from our home-based operation into a commercial storefront and the next chapter of WaCu Productions.
Twenty years later, I still love picking up a camera, meeting new people, and capturing moments that matter.
