Reasons to hire a western lifestyle photographer for your equine based business.

1) You want your brand to speak to you, and generic photos from the internet are not the way to approach building your business and adding personal flare.

2) A passionate equine photographer will help you set up correct conformation and achieve the best angles. You want to be sure your equine partners are captured looking their best.

3) A photographer who has experience with horses will be 100% sure to capture the bonds that you form with your personal and client horses, because we know how special a photo can be to freeze a moment in time.

4) Professional photos are more likely to bring in new clients for your business. Selfies from a cell phone are not a good way to attract paying clients. Not only will you have their photos for your advertising, chances are they will share the photos on their social media and get you more online traffic.

5) The sessions are so laid back and comfortable! You just do your thing and I will snap away! Easy peasy!

'Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful clients and all future clients! We all know I am beyond passionate about my work and if you've been in front of my lens, you know how much fun I have getting to know all of you! I'm super grateful for everyone who's helped build my portfolio with more western lifestyle sessions and some of you even let me stick around to play with cows after! I am still taking bookings even throughout the winter, so I'm still looking for some models to do snowy western lifestyle sessions. I need one cowboy to snap some photos of as well as someone who works around cattle who would let me get some winter ranching photos. These will not be free as the last 2 free sessions I've offered, the clients have ghosted and gone to someone else.

With that being said, in a world where everyone and their dog has a camera and charges $75 for a mini session, there's a photographer who has spent countless hours and dollars on education and equipment upgrades, and yes, we charge way more than your cousin who got a camera for Christmas, but that's because of the level of skill involved. 😉

I've mentioned a few times already that my prices will increase going into the new year so keep that in mind. Repeat clients are known to get a discount on their sessions as well, so for those who choose me to capture every milestone, thank you! If you are wanting to book your 2024 session, book before January to get 2023 pricing, and don't forget to like, share, tag and give me a review on Google!

'Love, laughter, and happily ever after! I have been photographing Gibson, the family dog, for the last few years as a part of my SPCA fundraiser, so when this lovely couple asked me to capture their engagement photos with Gibson, I was over the moon excited!

'It's me again with a friendly reminder that I will not hold your date without a retainer! If you fail to follow the instructions on my booking email, and don't send me the retainer, your date is free game. Next summer I will be taking very limited bookings, so I suggest booking in early. As well, my prices will increase, so book before January to save some $. If you complain about my pricing and go to the cheaper photographer, don't come back to me asking for a discount because your photos don't look good. Trust me, it's happened, quality comes with a price tag. 🤘

Hey hey everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend!!! I just wanted to pop by with some info because the topic of mini sessions has been coming up alot...

As a photographer, I get alot of people asking about mini sessions, especially when the fall leaves are out and it's time to start thinking about Christmas cards. I get it, alot of new photographers will offer these quick, 15 minute sessions with a handful of rushed photos, but that's not for me y'all!

I value my time and my clients time, as someone who mostly works with clients and their horses, I need at least an hour of shooting to get everything covered and ensure my clients are happy. My work is unique, special and worthy of the full investment because I put my whole heart into what I do and who I work with.

A mini session is generally associated with a cheaper price tag and less time spent with my clients, which means I can't give them the full experience. Basically, asking for a mini session is asking for the same quality I put into a full session, just with less $... It takes the same amount of equipment, the same editing equipment and subscriptions and the same fuel to drive to the location as a full session, but you're getting a rushed version, and that is not what my brand is about.

Photography is an investment, it's a way to preserve those moments and memories in life in a way that will last forever. I don't want to dilute the quality of my work by offering a quick session that won't live up to the experience my full price clients receive, besides, you wouldn't ask for a discount at your dentist or the tire shop right? 😉

With that being said, I will be increasing my prices for the 2024 season. The price increase will not be applied to those who have already booked and put their deposits down for 2024 sessions already. This would be a great time for any grads of 2024 to book in now to save some $. I am not taking any new weddings for 2024 and I will not be offering family photos anymore. Western lifestyle will be my main focus from now on!
