Chasing Light

Photographers don't see sunsets the same way.

We see direction.
We see shadows.
We see colour.
We see possibility.

Sometimes I'll stop mid-conversation and say...

"Look at that light!"

It's a photographer thing. 😅

Behind the Lens

Everyone sees the finished gallery.

Nobody sees me squatting in the mud, laying on the ground, or making ridiculous noises to get one genuine smile. 😂

Sometimes photography means:
✔ Getting grass stains.
✔ Swatting mosquitoes.
✔ Accidentally talking to squirrels instead of clients.

And honestly... I'd do it all over again for that one perfect, authentic moment.

Why Family Photos Matter

One day your kids won't care what kind of car you drove.

They won't remember what was trending.

They won't remember what brand of shoes you wore.

But they'll treasure the photos that show who loved them.

That's why family photography matters.

Not because life is perfect.

Because it isn't.

And that's what makes it beautiful.
