CASTING CALL — SFX / MAKEUP ARTIST + FUNDRAISER / TREASURER
We’re Cascade Digital Studios - a non-profit film crew based out of Mission.
We make films because we love it. No corporate fluff, no gatekeeping. Just a solid crew, good energy, and projects that actually get finished.
Right now, we’re looking to bring on:
1. SFX / MAKEUP ARTIST (Project-Based)
You know your way around blood, bruises, practical effects, and making actors look like they’ve been through something.
What you’ll do:
- Handle SFX makeup on shoot days
- Collaborate with directors on look + feel
- Bring ideas, not just ex*****on
What you get:
- Kit fee (for now — we’re actively building toward paid roles)

2. FUNDRAISER / TREASURER
We need someone who can help us grow this thing properly.
What you’ll do:
- Help secure funding (grants, sponsors, donations, etc.)
- Keep finances organized and transparent
- Work with the team to move us toward paid productions

- Portfolio-worthy experience
- First in line when paid positions open up
The Reality
We’re not rolling in cash yet. This is passion-first, build-together energy.
But we’re not amateurs either, we run things professionally, show up on time, and finish what we start.
If you want to just “help out,” this isn’t it.
