SNEAK PEEKS

I'm a lucky photographer!

I get to capture the most amazing young people in my lens and help them keep memories for a lifetime.

Shelby and The Abbott's trusted my lens to do just that and we had an awesome time at my new favourite place to capture memories - Fleming's Farm! We also took a few snaps in Upper Island Cove and the weather cooperated!

✨🎓 Sneak Peek | Laughter, Love & A Little Bit of Magic 🎓✨

Some families just have a way of making a photo session feel less like work and more like spending time with old friends and the Sullivans are definitely one of those families!

From the wide-open beauty of Fleming's Farm to the enchanting Fairy Circle, every stop along the way was filled with laughter, playful moments, and so much love. There was plenty of teasing, cheering each other on, and those genuine smiles that you simply can't pose. Those are the moments I love most.

Branden and Hannah, this day was all about celebrating your accomplishments and the exciting journey ahead. Watching your family beam with pride while having so much fun together made it easy to see just how supported and loved you both are.

To the Sullivan family, thank you for trusting me to capture this incredible milestone. Your joy is contagious, your bond is inspiring, and your sense of fun made this session one I'll be smiling about for a long time.

📷Sneak Peek: A Day Full of Laughter, Love & a Little Bit of Farm Charm📷

Some wedding days are elegant. Some are fun. And some are the perfect blend of both.

From the laughter shared between lifelong friends while getting ready, to the quiet moments of anticipation before saying "I do," every part of J & T's wedding day felt genuine, joyful, and completely them. The morning was filled with stories, smiles, cufflinks, and plenty of good - natured banter among the guys - a reminder that a wedding is about more than two people; it's about the people who have been there all along.

And then there was the unexpected guest star... 🐐

A charming little goat added a touch of personality and whimsy to the day, proving that the best wedding memories are often the ones you never plan for.

Yesterday’s photoshoot took us to some incredible locations that tell the story of who Cassidy is and what she represents as Miss Newfoundland and Labrador.

The stunning new Science Building at Memorial University was a perfect backdrop for Cassidy. With her roots firmly planted in science, this space reflects her curiosity, dedication, and passion for learning. Its bright, modern design mirrors the way Cassidy approaches life—with optimism, determination, and a desire to make a positive impact on the world around her.

We also captured moments at the vibrant JAG Hotel, a place bursting with creativity, colour, and energy. Just like Cassidy, JAG embraces individuality and celebrates standing out. Its bold personality and artistic spirit perfectly complement her colourful outlook on life and the positivity she brings to every room she enters.

Finally, we headed to beautiful Bowering Park, where nature, community, and tradition come together. The park reflects Cassidy’s warm and grounded nature, her love of connecting with people, and her appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us here in Newfoundland and Labrador. Among the winding pathways and vibrant scenery, her joyful spirit truly shone.
Each location highlights a different side of Cassidy, her intellect, her creativity, and her genuine connection to community.

Ode to Ridley!

The old bones of Harbour Grace
shift now only in memory.
Where salt wind once curled around
the weathered walls of Ridley,
there is silence.

A strange emptiness where history stood stubbornly against the Atlantic air.
Not grand in the way of cathedrals,
nor famous beyond the harbour roads,
yet it belonged to us.

To fishermen and dockworkers,
to ledgers inked by tired hands,
to winters survived and summers launched
from the edge of the sea.

Its windows watched generations pass:
boots crunching snow,
children racing bicycles,
fog rolling low over the water
like a blanket pulled across the bay.
Inside those walls lived stories
too ordinary for textbooks
but too important to lose.

Wood soaked in a century of storms.
Floors worn soft by purpose.
Every creak a reminder
that places remember people
even when people forget.

And now the building is gone.
No hammer can tear down memory,
yet grief settles quietly
when a landmark disappears.
Because when old places fall,
something more than timber leaves us.

A thread loosens
between who we were
and who we are becoming.
Still, Ridley Offices linger.

In photographs faded at the corners.
In stories told over kitchen tables.
In the harbour breeze that still moves
through Harbour Grace
as faithfully as ever.

Perhaps that is how history survives
not in brick or beam alone,
but in the hearts of those
who pause long enough
to mourn a building
as if it were an old friend.

She was my friend and a friend to my camera. There were so many photos to be taken here and cherished!

Oh Ridley, we will miss you!

Game 6 - Taylor Cup Final - Photo Essay

This is the story of the game!

It may not have been the ending we hoped for for our MoorFROST Stars, but that’s the reality of championship hockey… someone has to win.

Proud of the battle, the heart, and the effort it took to get here. These moments, even the tough ones, are part of the journey.

Congratulations to the St. John’s Caps on capturing the championship. Well earned.

Special Congrats to #8 (my BOY) who played his last game of his junior career!
