Parr Creek Photography

Parr Creek Photography I first picked up a camera for our trip to Scotland in 2016 and I really never looked back. My favorite subject is our ranch and rural locations.

I am constantly learning and would still consider myself a beginner or amateur. I never leave the house without my camera for the most part because I believe that you can always find the beauty in the smallest of scenes. Stopping along the side of a gravel road to take a picture of the sunrise, sunset or the long road home. My husband tells me he can never see what I see until he see's the picture

on the computer or camera. To learn more about me and see more of my work, please visit my website at

People sometimes feel they need to be able to articulate why they want a particular work before they are allowed to buy it. That is not how it works.

The attraction does not need a defense. You do not have to be able to explain Solitude to someone who asks; you just have to know it belongs in your space.

The explanation, if you want one, tends to arrive later on its own.

Every work that reaches a collector is the result of many decisions, including the decision not to show what came before it.

The finished work is not the whole story. It is the end of a longer, quieter process that most collectors never see.

When you live with Innocence, you are living with the result of the artistic process and all that comes with it.

Interior designers often talk about sightlines. They're the natural path your eye travels when you enter or move through a room.

Most people never think about this consciously, but they feel it. Art placed directly in a sightline changes a room immediately.

Placement is as intentional as the work itself.

I think "Sunset Silhouette" could fit into a few different places. Where will you display it?

This captivating landscape artwork presents a serene sunset, where the sky is painted in rich shades of orange. The silhouette of a solitary tree stands gracefully beside a towering silo, creating a striking contrast against the vibrant horizon. This piece beautifully captures the tranquil essence of rural life, making it a perfect addition to your space.

A lot of people hold off on collecting art because they rent and feel uncertain about committing to walls they do not own. But art does not belong to a wall. It belongs to you.

Renting is not a reason to live with bare walls. It is a reason to collect work that matters enough to keep moving (and growing) with you.

"Alluring" and my other work are connected to the people who love them, not just the places they're displayed.

Grazing The Range

This captivating landscape artwork portrays a serene rural scene at sunset, where cattle graze peacefully in an open field. The warm glow of the setting sun casts a golden hue over the landscape, highlighting the gentle contours of the land and the rich textures of the grass. The tranquil atmosphere and harmonious composition make this piece a perfect addition to any space, bringing a touch of rustic charm and natural beauty.
