about me!
i realized i don’t have anything about me on this page so here’s my official introduction on here!!
My name’s Katja or Kat, I am a lover of film and digital photography and also a NICU nurse in Hamilton 🫶🏼 I love working with the tiny babies at work but i also love taking a different role and getting to photograph families and couples outside of my day job. I’ve always been the friend who was obsessed with taking photos at every hangout and documenting allllll the moments and taking pics “for the mems”. So one day I decided why not take my favourite hobby and use my flexible nursing schedule to pursue that passion as much as I can. Truly the best decision i’ve ever made!!! I love spending time with my boyfriend and friends, taking ballet class, and trying all the bars and restaurants in Hamilton. And if i have the free time to travel you know i’m bringing my camera to document!! Who knew my high school photography class, school trip photography and travel videos would lead me here!

dela and zack on film! such a dreamy shoot and truly the film shots just pulled out that warm nostalgic feeling that you can only get on film. i love shooting film because i feel like the vibe and emotion that it captures just can’t be edited onto a digital photo! just a reminder that we can add a roll of film onto any shoot! 🤍

bright warm newborn session at home to celebrate this growing family! we had such a sweet session capturing these special details, truly the best way to remember the tiny toes and fingers is to document them with a photo session 🤍 also loved capturing the beautiful nursery details made by Rana Sutton

truly the most perfect august shoot! 🪻i struggled to choose my favourites from this one because i loved them all so much! what a dreamy engagement session at a lavender farm- we got a great mix of some candid, natural documentary-style photos and more classic, timeless posed photos. such a believer that a mix of both gives you the best gallery! thanks Between the Vines Lavender Estate for having us!!

my recent film favourites 😭😍 just something so warm and nostalgic about shooting on film 🤍 patience was needed on me finishing the roll for these scans to come back- they were definitely worth the wait i think!! send me a message and let’s shoot some film 🫶🏼 offering add-ons for film rolls for $100 including developing costs and scans.
