Sydney + Dallas last Friday!!

And now for something completely different…

Something I love about doing engagement shoots is the chance to step out of my comfort zone and try something new!

Steph, Adam, and I headed to a Dave & Busters on a Tuesday afternoon, while school was still in session. We wanted to make sure there would be the least amount of people around possible.

However, when I pulled up, there were about 5 school buses waiting outside. I had completely forgotten about the possibility of a field trip. Then again, why would I think a school would take a field trip to an arcade?? When I was in school, every field trip had to be “educational”.

Luckily, the field trip had just ended and all the kids were filing out of the arcade. That left it pretty empty for us to explore!

Look at these stunning angels, and tell me you don’t want to get dressed up and play arcade games with your fiancé!

Michelle + Andrew, Toronto City Hall

I did Michelle and Andrew’s engagement shoot last year, and the moment they told me they were going to city hall to get married, I was on board. I love a city hall wedding. I feel like I get to do a bit more documentary than usual.

The day was aglow with happiness and love from the two and their families. I thought I would present it in black and white, for a change :)

If you’re new here, my brother and his fiancé have a theatre company together. This year they wrote and directed Camp! which, to brag, sold out every show. And yes, I went twice, and yes, it was really great!!
