Kristal + Luke, Hamilton Art Gallery

Kristal and Luke. The kind of couple who sends you a six paragraph email after the wedding, detailing all the things you did that they thought were wonderful. The kind of couple whose family member gave a speech that was so beautiful, I had to stop and take a moment. The kind of couple who met on a dance floor at a wedding, and whose dance floor at their own wedding never emptied out the entire time I was there.

What a beautiful day. The week leading up to the wedding was calling for rain the entire day. And then, morning of, I woke up and checked my weather app and all of the sudden… clear skies the whole day! Strange, I thought. Until Kristal told me she paid an etsy witch to banish the storms from her wedding day. Say what you will, but it definitely worked…

I wish these two a lifetime of happiness. And I can’t help but wonder who met on their dance floor.

Sarah + Francis, Paletta Mansion

I met Sarah and Francis last October, and we planned to meet in May for their engagement shoot. You never know how good weather will be seven months in advance, but we really lucked out! It was a beautiful day, and such a delight to watch them make each other laugh.

Lauren + Tyler!!

Was no one going to tell me Dundurn Castle has flowers like this?? Hello??? I was also just there yesterday and they’re already gone!

April 28th we managed to get out, despite the rain, to see the Cherry Blossoms at Dundas’s Centennial Park!

The floral trees in the park are absolutely stunning. They don’t bloom for very long, but they are a must see when they are out!

I met Jaqueline and Sam when they signed up for my Adult Combo Dance class. If you didn’t know already, you can find me a few hours a week teaching at Elev8 Dance! I grew up doing Ballet, and teaching really fills my soul.

You can tell Jaqueline is a seasoned dancer as well… in a few of these photos, you can spot her standing in fourth position.

Jaqueline and Sam also woke up their adorable 7 month old baby for a few photos at the end! You’d never know he had just been asleep, with that winning smile. What a cutie.

I have wanted a drone for so long. I’m so excited for all the possibilities it will bring!

Andrea + Daniel

I photographed Andrea and Daniel up and down Ossington ave on the first nice day of the year! It was quite the challenge - I can’t blame everyone for wanting to be out when the sun finally shows its face. We used it to our advantage, and I was so thrilled with how the photos turned out!

I have been looking forward to this one ever since I did Danielle + Dan’s engagement shoot in 2024. It was an amazingly fun day, with so much laughter. Just as any wedding day should be!
