Some weddings just have a way of reminding you what it’s all about. 🤍

From the quiet moments of getting ready, to the first looks and private vows, to an intimate ceremony on their family farm, every part of this day felt so deeply personal. You could feel the love in every little detail, each one thoughtfully chosen to represent them.

The way these two looked at each other, it was as if the rest of the world simply disappeared. Just the two of them, completely wrapped up in their own little world. 🥹

And the sweetest part? So many of the details were made with love by the bride herself, from the bouquets to the cake and desserts. A day that was truly a reflection of their love, their story, and the life they’re building together.

From the intimacy of their vows to the joy of celebrating with their favourite people, this day was such a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful weddings aren’t about how big they are, but how much love they hold.

So grateful to have been part of this day as a second shooter and to capture a few of these moments alongside the talented Lily Emerald Photography 🤍✨

Two people, deeply in love, waiting for the little person who was about to make their world so much bigger.

✨ A little reintroduction ✨

Hi, I’m the face behind L.L Photography — a lifestyle & elopement photographer based in Halifax & East hants, Nova Scotia. 🤍

Although I’ve always dabbled in photography, it wasn’t until I was diagnosed with CMT (charcot-marie-tooth) that I decided to take the leap and officially start advertising my photography. (Yes… the same CMT as Alan Jackson. 😂🎶 So I guess I’m in pretty good company!)

What started as something I simply loved doing has grown into something I’m incredibly grateful to call my business. I get to step into some of the most meaningful seasons of people’s lives and preserve the moments they’ll want to remember forever.

And you’ll often see my amazing husband, Seth, right there beside me. 🤎 He shares my love for photography and has become my go-to assistant on the majority of my sessions. From carrying gear to creative input and helping me stay stable on my feet, he’s a huge part of what we do — and I’m so lucky to have him by my side.

Together, we love capturing the little things — the way you look at each other, the uncontrollable laughs, the quiet in-between moments, and all the milestones that make your story uniquely yours.

My goal is to create timeless, authentic imagery that doesn’t just show you what the moment looked like, but brings you right back to how it felt.

So whether you’re planning an elopement, celebrating a growing family, documenting a milestone, or simply want to freeze this season of life exactly as it is — I’d love to be there to capture it. 📷✨

Every love story deserves to be told with intention.

It begins with the details—the rings that symbolize forever, the bouquet carefully gathered, the veil waiting for its moment in the breeze. Then comes the anticipation… the quiet smiles, the gentle touch of hands, the way two people look at each other. 💍✨

As the sun dipped lower and the light wrapped around them, every frame became less about posing and more about preserving a feeling—one of joy, tenderness, and the kind of love that feels timeless.

A beautiful collaboration filled with creativity, intention and talented people. I’m beyond blessed for opportunities like this and can’t believe how much my little photography business has grown! 📸🫶🏼
