Part of what I've been doing this year, besides taking a general break to put my life, career, and health together, is working more on behind the scenes things.

Earlier this year, I was approached by a friend of mine to create a sign for her father, and after numerous back and forth, came up with an idea. As a memorial to a friend of his, the goal was to design a vintage tin sign that captured his friend in his element; flying his glider. Carefree. The gentlemen I spoke to provided the image he wanted me to work on, and we eventually came up with this as a final.

For those who've been wondering where I've been for the past year, feel free to check out this article for a bit of understand. I promise to try and pull my head back in the game for 2016, but make absolutely no promises. It's killing me, to not create, but when I want to create, I have absolutely no energy to go on, which hurts even more.

I hope everyone has had pleasant holidays, and a better start to 2016. I know personally, my mindfulness goals, and personal goals are my biggest focuses to keep myself out of the dark. I -will- be better, it'll just take a moment or two. Please bear with me.

I HAD to share this right away, as I've been sitting on this bit of news for a few weeks now. Unfortunately, I still can't share images from my first roll, but from my second, here it is.

And by roll, you guessed it. FILM!

I ordered a roll of Kodak Moments Ektar 100 film about 2 weeks ago from Henry's Photo-Video-Digital, and just received it back from Atlantic Photo Supply this morning. :) Here's the preview image from this film.

Discovered via Tim Lingley Photography, Honeybee Vintage Bridal downtown on Gottigen street. For any vintage lovers out there, this is a gorgeous place to wander. I had a great meeting with the owner this afternoon; she's super friendly and very welcoming to her shop! Go check her out!
