I had the opportunity to hang out with Learning Landon last weekend for a one on one photography learning session. I originally had donated a portrait session to the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust fundraising auction- and it morphed into a learning session instead. So much better.

Landon's forte is Birding- and he has some amazing images and lots of knowledge. Check out his calendars if you have a chance- Look up "Learning Landon."

Landon wanted to know more about landscape photography so we discussed f-stops, lenses, HDR and ISO, times of day and good light. I set him up with one of my cameras and a few lenses- 14-24 and 24-70. And how fitting - we went to Barnum Creek , part of the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust. Thanks for the fun day!
