It’s a huge compliment, but also a lot of pressure when one of your photography teachers hires you for family photos.

My favourite landscape photos I’ve ever taken were on field trips in Dan’s class where I learned to embrace wide angle lenses, small apertures, and walking into water to get the best shots. Unfortunately as my business grew, I took less time to photograph nature and the things that first inspired me in photography, but landscapes will always be a favourite of mine.
