Allanah & Micah’s wedding day was so joy-filled, and it was an absolute honor to be a part of it. The rain stopped just in time for their beautiful ceremony, and the rest of the day unfolded so perfectly. 🥹🤍

It’s time for an updated introduction 🎉

Hey there!! I’m Kayla!! Fall is my absolute favorite season — cozy vibes, crunchy leaves, and all the warm colors 😍🍂 Before every single shoot, buying a coffee is a must ☕️😉 — at this point, I think caffeine actually fuels my creativity, and who doesn’t love a totally justified business write-off haha!!

I’m married to my best friend (who also happens to be my accountant + the guy keeping our two girls, ages 3 and 1.5, alive while I do the coolest job ever)!! Life is busy, loud, and full of love, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 😊💛

Most couples hire me because they either love my warm, true-to-life edits or because they’ve watched me work in person!! My approach? Lots of laughs, movement, and making you feel totally natural in front of the camera 💕 I love bringing the energy and helping people feel comfortable!! Honestly, I’m so glad that’s why people book me because keeping up on socials is definitely NOT my forte 😅!!

How to make bridal party photos FUN—not forced 🥳

You’ve got your favorite people all dressed up and ready to celebrate on your best👏🏻day👏🏻ever👏🏻—here is how we can make those group photos something that all of you will *actually* enjoy!

Walking, laughing, dress floofing —movement = magic. It helps everyone forget they’re on camera and just be themselves.

🤍 Quick + painless (yes, really).
No marathon posing sessions here! I’ll keep things moving so your crew isn’t stuck melting in the sun or teetering in heels for too long 👠

🤍 Skip the stiff stuff (kind of).
Yes, we’ll grab the classics—everyone smiling at the camera, looking at each other, etc.—but the real gems happen in those fun, in-between moments! After we’ve been able to have fun, the classics feel a lot more natural too!

This engagement session was the best way to kick off my busy season! 😍

After a few months of slow, cozy winter days, getting outside to create again felt so energizing—and so much fun.

Taylor & Colton were an absolute blast to work with! We started at Pineridge Hollow (where he proposed—cue all the heart eyes!💍😍) and then did an outfit swap for some cozy, golden hour magic at Bird’s Hill Park.

One thing I love about engagement sessions?
The way clothing totally shifts the vibe of your photos. From formal to casual, it lets you tell different parts of your story—and these two totally nailed both!

A little life + business update! 💛

Hey friends! It’s been a busy season over here (life wise…not instagram wise, oops!), so I wanted to pop in and share a little update on all the things—because wow, time is flying!

✨ Business-wise: My 2025 wedding books are FULL (except a date or two in winter months! ❄️) and 2026 is already filling up fast! If you’re planning your best day ever, now’s the time to reach out! 💍

✨ New things! I’ve had so many sweet families asking if I offer sessions, and the answer is YES! I finally created a space just for them— is live! 🎉 If you’re looking for fun, movement-filled family photos, I’d absolutely loveeee to capture this season for you!

✨ Life-wise: Somehow, my baby Paige is about to be a ONE-year-old (???) and Hollyn is basically 2 going on 13 haha 🫠💕 I absolutely love being a girl mama and wish I could slow time down. We’ve been busy house hunting (which has been way crazier than anticipated) and I am just SO ready for spring weather and all the weddings, engagements, and fun ahead! 💕

Oh and Photo wise…I just love a good candid moment especially in B&W…this gorgeous day was full of them 😍
