I made this after a week of corrupting my editing software, deleting photos accidentally and figuring out every mistake thus far out the hard way.

Greatful for my people who listen to me complain and help me problem solve my lil mishaps — you know who you are & Throwback Lens would never have gotten this far without the tribe 🤍

Sometimes I have to stop and basically pinch myself to remember just how far I’ve come with photography in such a short amount of time. 😭🤍

I never dreamed I’d be here already — being trusted to document so many beautiful people and turning something I am deeply passionate about into a business.

There’s still so much room to grow, but I don’t want to get so caught up in where I’m going that I forget to appreciate where I am.

Made this one a minute ago and totally forgot about it…

One of favourite lil gadgets as of late for photography sessions is my hot shoe phone mount!

It clips right on to my camera, and allows me to seamlessly record these types of BTS clips for clients while shooting photography!!!

Another added bonus is while I splice the clips together like this to make lil cute reels I get to listen to my pose coaching in real time and improve for later shoots!

What is one of your current favourite must haves in your camera bag?! 📷

Maybe building a business that actually gives you a LIFE outside of it is the whole point.🤎

Somewhere along the way, we started measuring success by six-figure incomes, constant travel, and how busy we could convince everyone we were.

But as photographers, didn’t a lot of us start our own businesses because we wanted more freedom?

More time with our families.

More slow mornings.

More space to create without burning ourselves out.

I want to grow my business, make money doing something I love and create work I’m proud of but never at the expense of missing out on life.

& Hey no shade to the girls who are married to the work life, we all have different phases of life we’re in.

Here’s to normalizing a version of success that looks different for everyone & remembering that a quiet, ordinary Tuesday can be just as valuable as the milestone you’re working toward. ✨

Getting to meet these two through during pregnancy, I had no doubt in my mind E & S would would make great parents to baby L and boy was ever ever I right! 💙😭

They may be young, but the love and care they already pour into their little boy speaks volumes about how lucky he is to have chosen them as his parents in this lifetime.
