"One thing that I like about photography and the field of portrait photography is that it’s not like many other career choices. A lot of career choices are intangibles, like accounting or law or financial planning.
These fields are more based on abstract concepts. These fields are intangible. In photography, you get to create on an ongoing basis. I think that’s so cool. Every day, every week, every month, year by year, I get to create, literally, thousands of images. Not only that, I get to create images that impact people’s lives. Hundreds and thousands of people are affected by the images that I create. And I also get to create a good living from it." To this day it still amazes me that I earn what I do taking pictures. Yes, taking pictures. How cool is that?
