If I could relive this walk down the aisle 100 times, I would.

Those who know me, know I tear up at every wedding. It’s inevitable. I just love all the love. Whole heartedly.

This wedding was a little extra special too, because the couple are long time friends of mine. Witnessing all the joy in these moments had me tearing up behind the camera *immediately* and I’m so glad I got to capture it all.

Friends!

Who wants to be part of the modelling team for my super sweet photography workshop happening May 29th-31st?

Never modelled before? That’s ok! The main criteria are that you’re in love, easy going, and ready to have fun!

We’ll be doing both couples and elopement shoots, and all love it welcome!

Some main details:

- The workshop takes place just south of Manning, AB.
- Time commitment is general 3-4 hours and this includes prep and breaks.
- Food is provided.
- Depending on your shoot time, accommodation may be provided.
- Models receive an honorarium for their time.

… And most exciting of all : You’ll get *TONS* of photos from the stellar workshop participants.

We’ll be giving you tons of details and directions leading up to and during the workshop. Your main ‘job’ would be to show up, stay open during the creating process and just have fun with your partner!

What’s the plan for 2026?

✨ Trying new things
✨ Building new skills
✨ Stepping out of my creative comfort zone
✨ Never loosing my death grip on the ✨ emoji

This precious family shoot from last fall encompasses all of that for me, and it’s the energy I want to bring into my shoots this year.

Why?

Because we shot this on ✨film✨

Was it scary? Heck yes.

Did it go flawlessly? As if!

Was the suspense unbearable while I waited for the film to develop? You better believe it.

But did it also give me a sweet little creative high and confidence boost knowing that I can create ‘blind’? You better believe it!

I loved this whole shoot start to finish and am especially proud of the perfect moment captured of the little cutie being tossed in the air by his dad.

Thank you for trying something new (old) with me and going into it ready to just have fun and create ❤️

Hi Friends!

The start of the year seems like a great time to reintroduce myself!

My name is Liza and I’m a commercial and lifestyle photographer.

I’ve been living in the gorgeous Peace Country for 15 years now so I guess I can officially call myself Albertan…

My hubby and I have been together for nearly 17 years and we love to adventure with our epic little 5 year old.

Some quick fun facts:

✨ I lived in France after I graduated high school
✨Tacos and sushi are my favourite foods
✨ Winter is my faaaaaavorite season. Even in -30
✨ I got my love of photography from my Grandma
✨ I love attending workshops and host my own now

Photography became my career because I could be creative every day, connect with people in an authentic space, and have the freedom to travel and raise a family on my own terms.

What I found on top of that was that I was capturing priceless memories for families, couples and business owners, all while exploring my region and the world.

I love what I do, and can’t wait for the year ahead ✨
