My friend Sylvain captured me behind the scene after we found a northern Pygmy owl high up in the mountains back in April! I then found their nest in May and they successfully had a nice clutch of babies! I don’t normally post too much behind the scene stuff so thought I would share us joking around!

Was 90km an hour winds and blowing snow up in the alpine this weekend but that didn’t fizz the caribou high up in the mountains near Tumbler Ridge BC. Will be posting a video in the next couple days of these beautiful caribou! I was a little lower down with a 800mm lens and my Nikon but I did freeze my hands off and my feet were frozen solid in my cowboy boots to get some footage 🤣. Next time I guess I will have to pack my winter gear….
