Forever grateful on l’ve been able to dive right back in to capturing some really special memories for a lot of you. Sending the biggest thank you out to you. It’s been so cool to be back doing what I love, and I cannot wait to do more of it.

End of summer and fall photos are filling up really quickly, and I will only be able to take on so many of you.

I have mini pricing (which I almost never offer, so if that’s your jam, now is the time. It won’t be around forever)

Then my full session pricing hasn’t changed, you get the whole finalized gallery with this package.

Dates are up. Along with travel dates and potential travel dates. Working on a Saskatchewan trip currently but nothing is finalized just yet. Depending on out of town date interest, I will be able to finalize those dates!

This was such a fun session, it had rained the night before, we shot in the morning. The trees were extra green and fresh, and lots of puddles to jump in.

Letting kids be kids during sessions is my favorite.

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I introduced myself.

I’m Matana, and I have such a deep passion for making people smile. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a camera in my hand, and it started with $3 disposable cameras. I then upgraded to some digital cameras around 10, and at 17 I bought a camera instead of figuring out what I wanted to go to college for.

At the age of 18, I started a “business” and started charging money to take peoples photos, and I had a lot to learn about business, skill and the ability to charge my worth and never under sell myself.

I could never figure out why it was so hard to decide what I wanted to go to college for, maybe because my creativity was never meant to be put in a classroom.

Over the last 12 years in business, I’ve learned a lot, over come a lot of hurdles, but something I’m most proud of is I never quit even when I really wanted to. Three years ago I had a life altering car accident that changed the way I showed up for my business, but I am proud to say I have come back to my passion of being really good at capturing people in their natural element.

I cannot wait to see where this next season of photography leads me, but I can confidently say I am already learning so much and feeling that love again for what I do; so thank you for being here, thank you for your support and thank you for encouraging me to stay.

Over the last few years behind the scenes I have been navigating a massive pivot after a car accident that has left me with some life altering chronic pain. It changed how I could work, move, and show up; and while I’ve been quieter online, I’ve still been creating behind the scenes.
