The trope about women loving horses is only half the story.

After spending a year with Canada's rodeo queens, I learned that the horses love their cowgirls, too.

The relationship between a human and their horse is a special one.

This weekend I took my family to the Teepee Creek Stampede Pro Rodeo, celebrating my daughter's birthday.

I went for a short 20-kilometer alpine hike this weekend with some of my friends. I missed being embedded in the forest with nothing but my boots, my bag and my brothers to rely on.
