🤍 I’ve been a little quieter here the last couple of days while I’ve been processing a few things personally with a not-well family member and soaking in some very special time with my little girl. ✨💗& also still capturing photos ✨

It’s been a lot to take in, so the last few days.. I’ve been getting some much-needed rest ✨

— like watching Raeah’s video 100 times. 🥹💗 Just taking in a moment of my life that I’ve been waiting so long to have. 🥺

I needed to pause for a little bit and actually live in that moment 🥺🫢✨

I’m human. I’m real. I have feelings, too it was emotionally heavy to not take a moment ✨

So I may just need a little extra time to get back to everyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🤍

BTS: Wanna learn something about me you probably don’t know?? 👀✨

Yes, I’m absolutely passionate enough to ruin my clothes for the shot. 😂📸

If I have to crawl through dirt, grass, mud, or whatever else is in my way to get the photo… SO BE IT. 🤣🤍

✨ HERE’S SOMETHING COOL I BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT ME ✨

Ever wonder why both of my eyes are always open when I’m taking photos? 👀📸

Wonder no more!

I have binocular vision — meaning my two eyes work together to give me one overall visual field, while I’m also able to use the information coming from each eye independently. 👀

So when I’m behind my camera, I’m not just looking through the viewfinder…

I’m still watching what’s happening around me with my other eye. 😂📸

And as a photographer, I think that’s pretty freaking cool. 😎

It means I can stay focused on the shot while also being aware of movement, distance, depth, and what’s happening outside the frame.

Basically… I can be looking through my camera AND keeping an eye on what’s happening around me at the same time. 🤣

Which honestly comes in handy when I’m trying to catch that NEXT BEST SHOT before it even happens. 🤍📸

So yeah… maybe crawling through the mud with both eyes wide open isn’t as crazy as it looks. 😂🤷‍♀️📸
