Hey everyone! Long time no post.

While I do have an announcement regarding my health and business, that's for another day.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Mothers Day!

Mothers are a lot like this snowflake. They can be both fragile and strong at the same time. These things fall from the sky and land on pavement and survive the journey. At the same time they will often happily melt in your arms. :)

They're also all unique and special. The world wouldn't be the same without them.

Be kind to each other out there!

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Canada Day weekend!Greg

Happy Mother's Day to all mother's and mother's to be!

Life is fragile, and you always handle it with care.

The lights in the sky are stars!

They're also aurora if you went out tonight. :)

I'm quite happy that I can cross (or half cross) one the items off my bucket list. I say half crossed because I'd love to go way up north where the crazy action is. :)

These are my first ever aurora shots. I'll be posting them over the next few days.

Hey everyone. For those of you who've always wanted to see an aurora, you may have your chance tonight once darkness sets in.

They're estimating a KP Index of 7, which is fairly rare. KP-7 is around the range you would want to have for a decent chance of seeing the aurora.

Since the forecast is an estimate, it may not become that strong, or it could end up even stronger. Your best chances to see it is to go a bit north of Goderich to get away from the bright lights. You may have to look towards the north, as KP-7 may not result in aurora directly overhead.

As this is one of my bucket list items, I'd like to wish all of us good luck. :)

Well folks, it looks like it's that time again.
We've now passed the 2nd of 2 important markers for this time of year.

1. The return of Eastern Daylight (the only good) Time.
2. It. Is. Spring!

Of course, Spring wouldn't be the same without the return of our weary returning travellers.

If these shots don't quite look like the landscape that you've seen in the area, I can assure you that it's just your imagination. I would NEVER post a few new shots that I noticed while looking through last years batch, just to avoid driving through a blizzard!

No sir, no way, no how. :)

Wow. Hard to believe it's the Winter Solstice.

Here's a shot I took around the June Solstice.

Sorry I still haven't been around much. I do think my long haul condition from covid a year ago is slowly getting better, but I'm still not sure where it might stop.

Anyways, have a great holiday everyone!

Here's a photo of tonight's total lunar eclipse...

Actually, it's a couple of different colours in Photoshop with a couple filters added to it. Don't worry, that's pretty much all there was to see outside, so it's as good as a photo. :/
