Secondhand Sight is a passion project launched by in March of 2014 by Ally Campbell, former creative director and photographer of business Finding Forever Photographs. While Finding Forever Photographs was begun as a wedding/portrait business, finding her passion for photojournalism and social documentary images led Ms. Campbell to close down her 5 year business at Finding Forever and focus on hel
ping others take a closer, creative look at social, environmental and economic issues through Secondhand Sight. We seek to express this through various mediums- straight photography, media exposure, awareness posters and media, as well as other collaborative works of stills and video. Secondhand Sight is a two word synopsis of the vision of this company- raising awareness and initiating internal and interpersonal discussion on a variety of important topics in a visually stimulating way. We hope that each piece helps the audience to see that which is not always so obvious to eye as it is to the soul- allowing the viewer to see a topic in a new light, through the eyes of another individual. Secondhand Sight brings to the table valuable experience in working in the photojournalistic , documentary and portrait imagery while also bringing an artistic and heartfelt point of view to each image captured. Our company believes in the value of each personβs story as its own unique and beautiful entity, and will go above and beyond to portray this in a way that is both true-to-life and aesthetically captivating.
