I just got my branding photos back so it’s time for a re-introduction!!💌🌼🤎

I’m Mary.🫶🏼
Lover of humans and human connection, and documenting it as keepsakes for my clients.🤎🥹

This is my fourth year doing photography- I started when I was 14! My most favourite things to photograph are families with little kids (beautiful chaos haha) and couples.

Some random lil things👇🏼

• if you know me, you know my obsession with anything peach.🍑 AND that I have an oral allergy to them. And I eat them anyway. YUM.

• some of my other loves besides photography are flowers (a big one), surfing on lake huron (another big one), and spending some good time with good people.(another big one hehe). I’m also a big fan of nature and the tiny things in life. Big fan.

• my love languages are quality time & giving gifts. I love that my job includes these things. I often wish my sessions were longer and that I could just hang out with my clients longer.😂

• Anne of green gables is my absolute favourite book series, and I love sad movies. (For some odd reason).

• Last one - my favourite colours are greens and browns. Earthy dirty colours.😝

ABSOLUTE magical human beings. this gallery is a perfect representation of their love for each other and their shared love for the water. (fellow surfers yayyy)

This shoot fed my lil photographer’s soul.🥲 running down the beach chasing after these two while they laughed and danced and ran through the waves was just what I needed to be refreshed and get my creative juices flowing again.

(Also, the hand stand one?!??🤯😍 Laurie’s idea and Joel nailed it haha)

“From our first interaction, I knew Mary would deliver something special. She captures the organic and authentic, the little things, the natural love and movement between people and places - in her words and in her photographs. She was able to ease many of my worries. I’m not from around Huron County, so arranging a photoshoot in unfamiliar territory was stressful, for a moment - Mary made it so easy! Our photoshoot didn’t really feel like one. It felt like an evening at the beach, so peaceful, so fun with my little toddler playing in the sand. Mary was there to make sure these memories last forever. She has a real talent for stopping time with her photographs.
I look back at the photos of my family and my heart swells. Mary did that. Even as out-of-towners, I know we’ll be coming back to Mary so she can work her magic for my little family again.”

(Because these two are caaa-uuute and I take wayyy too many photos and can’t narrow them down)🫶🏻🙃

This session just makes me smile. It was so stinkin fun. We took their truck out to the back pasture (didn’t get stuck thankfully haha), crawled under electric fences, laughed a lot, watched the sunset, and frolicked.

Stay tuned for a second post of these…it will involve cattle and pickup trucks. 👀😍
