Retenir mon souffle, avec une seule pensée en tête : Surtout, ne bougez plus… laissez-moi profiter encore un peu de ce moment.

Les voir tous les trois réunis, si proches, dans ce calme au cœur de la nature sauvage, était profondément touchant. Un souvenir que je garderai longtemps… même si, honnêtement, je ne sais toujours pas comment choisir mes photos préférées. 🤩

Holding my breath, with just one thought running through my mind: Please, don’t move… let me enjoy this moment just a little longer. 🤍

Seeing the three of them together, so close, sharing this peaceful moment in the heart of the wild, was deeply moving. It’s a memory I’ll carry with me for a long time… even though, honestly, I still have no idea how I’m supposed to choose my favorite photos.

World Photography Day

For once… I’m the one in front of the lens! 😄

Photography has been such a big part of my life for so many years that I can hardly imagine living without a camera nearby.

It has taken me places, made me wake up at impossible hours, wait in the cold, lie in the mud, walk countless kilometers… and sometimes stay perfectly still for a very long time just for a few seconds of magic. 😂

But most of all, it has taught me how to see. To notice a light, a glance, a behavior, a small moment that someone else might have missed.

Behind every one of my photos, there is a story, a meeting, an emotion, and often a travel memory that I will carry with me for life.

And this photo of me pretty much sums up my happiness: out in nature, camera on my shoulder, probably already looking for my next subject.

Happy World Photography Day to everyone who loves capturing those tiny moments that pass far too quickly.

Petit retour en Patagonie… 🇨🇱

Dans les prochains jours, je vais probablement vous faire voyager un peu entre mes deux dernières aventures… de la Patagonie sauvage jusqu’à Churchill.

Aujourd’hui, retour auprès de ce magnifique puma, photographié alors qu’il se déplaçait avec une agilité incroyable dans ce décor rocheux typique de la Patagonie.

J’adore cette photo pour les textures, les couleurs et surtout cette impression de le voir parfaitement à sa place dans son environnement.

La Patagonie m’a offert tellement de beaux moments que je n’ai clairement pas terminé de vous les partager!

A little trip back to Patagonia… 🇨🇱

Over the next few days, I’ll probably be taking you back and forth between my two latest adventures… from the wild landscapes of Patagonia to Churchill.

Today, we’re heading back to this magnificent puma, photographed as it moved effortlessly through this incredible rocky landscape.

I love this image for its textures, its natural tones, and especially the way the puma seems so perfectly at home in its environment.

Patagonia gave me so many unforgettable moments… and I’m definitely not done sharing them with you!

La nature, sans filtre.

Une mère. Son petit. Une proie. La survie.

Cette photo résume à elle seule une grande partie de ce que je suis venue chercher en Patagonie : observer la vraie vie sauvage, telle qu’elle est.

Ce n’est peut-être pas l’image la plus « jolie » de mon voyage, mais elle est certainement l’une des plus fortes. Pendant que son petit se nourrit, elle lève les yeux et me fixe… et pendant quelques secondes, tout est là.

Nourrir. Protéger. Survivre.

La nature n’est ni cruelle ni tendre. Elle est simplement vraie.
Et moi, derrière ma caméra… je mesure encore une fois l’immense privilège d’en être témoin.

Nature, unfiltered.

A mother. Her cub. A kill. Survival.

This photo alone captures so much of what I came to Patagonia to witness: wildlife as it truly is.

It may not be the “prettiest” image from my trip, but it is certainly one of the most powerful. While her cub feeds, she looks up and stares straight at me… and for a few seconds, everything is right there in front of me.

Nourish. Protect. Survive.

Nature is neither cruel nor gentle. It is simply real.

And there I was, behind my camera, reminded once again of what an incredible privilege it is to witness moments like this. 🐾

Petit puma, grand moment.

Difficile d’imaginer un décor plus parfait pour cette rencontre. La neige au sol, les couleurs de la Patagonie et ce magnifique petit puma qui s’arrête quelques secondes pour me regarder droit dans les yeux…

Tout était là. Le décor, la lumière, son regard… et moi derrière ma caméra qui essayais simplement de ne pas oublier de respirer!

Je crois que cette photo résume assez bien pourquoi je suis venue jusqu’au bout du monde. Quel privilège de pouvoir observer ces magnifiques félins dans leur environnement naturel.

Patagonie, tu m’auras complètement conquise.

Little puma, BIG moment.

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect setting for this encounter. Snow on the ground, the beautiful colors of Patagonia, and this gorgeous little puma stopping for a few seconds to look straight at me.

Everything came together. The setting, the light, that look… and me behind my camera simply trying to remember to breathe!

I think this photo perfectly sums up why I traveled all the way to the end of the world. What a privilege to witness these magnificent cats in their natural environment.

Patagonia, you completely stole my heart.

Un moment de pure tendresse.

Cette magnifique maman puma profitait d’un petit moment de calme pour faire sa toilette, pendant que ses deux petits cherchaient simplement le meilleur endroit pour être confortables… collés l’un contre l’autre.

Puis ils ont bougé, se sont rapprochés encore un peu, jusqu’à être complètement blottis ensemble pour leur petite sieste. Sérieusement… beaucoup trop mignon! 😍

La lumière n’était peut-être pas la meilleure pour la photo, mais parfois, le moment est tellement extraordinaire qu’on oublie complètement les conditions. Pouvoir observer cette petite famille dans son environnement naturel, dans une scène aussi douce et intime, restera assurément l’un de mes beaux souvenirs de la Patagonie.

Parce qu’au final, une photo n’a pas toujours besoin d’une lumière parfaite… quand le moment, lui, l’est.

A moment of pure tenderness.

This beautiful puma mom was enjoying a quiet moment grooming herself, while her two little ones were simply trying to find the most comfortable spot… snuggled right up against each other.

Then they moved, got even closer, and ended up completely curled up together for their little nap. Seriously… way too cute! 😍

The light may not have been the best for photography, but sometimes the moment is so extraordinary that the conditions simply don’t matter. Being able to observe this little family in their natural environment, sharing such a sweet and intimate moment, will definitely remain one of my favorite memories from Patagonia.

Because in the end, a photograph doesn’t always need perfect light… when the moment itself is perfect.

WOW. Juste WOW.

Aujourd’hui, je ne m’attendais vraiment pas à ça…

Cette magnifique femelle puma s’est mise à marcher dans ma direction. Calme, confiante et d’une élégance incroyable. 😍

Pendant quelques secondes, j’ai presque oublié que je pouvais filmer! 😂 Heureusement, j’ai réussi à capturer un petit bout de ce moment complètement fou en vidéo.

Voir un puma sauvage, c’est déjà exceptionnel… mais la voir venir vers moi comme ça? Un moment que je ne suis pas près d’oublier.

La Patagonie… tu me gâtes! 🇨🇱

Today, I truly wasn’t expecting this…

This beautiful female puma started walking in my direction. Calm, confident, and incredibly elegant.

For a few seconds, I almost forgot I could actually film! 😂 Luckily, I managed to capture a little bit of this completely surreal moment on video.

Seeing a wild puma is already something special… but watching her walk toward me like this? Definitely a moment I will never forget.

Patagonia… you are spoiling me! 🇨🇱
