Oh hi 👋 it’s me sharing yet another amazing engagement session from last summer… 🙃

I know, I know… Larissa, get it together 😂 But honestly, these are just too good not to share because they are some of my absolute favourites!

Mother Nature decided to bring ALL the drama for this one…wind, rain, and a sky that looked like it belonged in a movie. And honestly? I’m completely obsessed with it. The moody skies and wild wind added the most incredible energy to their photos.

These two were absolute troopers through the crazy weather (because let’s be real, getting blown around and rained on isn’t always the easiest way to spend your evening 😂), but they made it look effortless.

And the way he looks at her… 😍 swoon.

I cannot wait because I get to capture their wedding THIS WEEKEND, and I already know it’s going to be the perfect day celebrating these two. ❤️

A little note for my families 🤍

While my contract does include permission to share images from your session on my website and social media, I will always respect your wishes if you’d prefer your children’s faces not be posted online.

As a mom myself, I understand that every family has different comfort levels with their online presence.

If I do share anything from your session, it will only ever be the little details that don’t identify your children — tiny hands, the back of a head, little feet running through the grass, or those quiet moments in between.

Your family’s comfort and privacy will always come first 🤍

I spend most of my sessions saying things like:

“Don’t look at me.”
“Look at each other.”
“Pretend I don’t exist.”

But every now and then... we let one slip through. 🤩

It’s criminal I haven’t shared these sooner!

The cows.
The rope swing.
The sunset.
The golden light.
Just an absurd amount of goodness packed into one evening 😍

The little details are never really just little details 🤍

The signature drinks named after your dogs.
A whiskey bar built by your dad.
Homemade jam favours from your family recipe.
Late night snacks from your favourite date-night spot.

Those are the things that make a wedding feel like you.

Not trends. Not perfection. Not what Pinterest says a wedding should look like.

The most memorable wedding days are the ones layered with personality, meaning, history, and the people you love most ✨

N + J poured so much heart into every part of their day, and it truly made it unforgettable to photograph. Everywhere you looked there was another thoughtful, beautiful detail that reflected who they are and the life they’ve built together - the kind of wedding day that stays with you long after it’s over 🤍

Spring and summer always fly by in a blur, and I’m really trying to be more present for it this year.

I’m keeping my summer schedule intentionally light this year so I can be present with my own family.

If a session has been on your mind, now’s the time to reach out!

June is fully booked, with limited weekday availability in July & August.

Rushing is the fastest way to steal the magic from your day.

Build in buffer time - more than you think you need.
Extra minutes between getting ready, first look, ceremony… all of it.

Because when you’re not watching the clock, everything changes. You breathe deeper. You laugh more. You’re actually in it.

And that’s when the photos go from “nice” to the ones that feel like you.

The best moments aren’t scheduled, they happen in the in-between 🤍
