For the last 40 some years, UNB's Harrison House carves a giant pumpkin with the face of the roman god Janus. The pumpkin is paraded from Harrison, to DKT and back, before being thrown from the roof as sacrifice to the god, to curry favour with the it to ensure a bountiful academic harvest.

Yeah. It's weird.

While I couldn't watch the A team play earlier that day, I got to watch the Ironmen B team win the Atlantic championship last Saturday. Not that I understand Rubgy well, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the game!

On New Brunswick day I took a trip with some friends to Fundy National Park, it's truly a beautiful place and I only got to explore a few kilometres of trails when I was there. The park is also a dark sky preserve, I'm hoping to make an overnight trip before the end of the summer to take some star photos!
