Christ Church Cathedral(HDR)

Christ Church Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Anglican Diocese of Fredericton. It is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Construction of the cathedral began in 1845 and it was consecrated in 1853. The Gothic Revival cathedral is modeled after St. Mary's Church, Snettisham, Norfolk.

This image is an HDR merge of several photographs that were taken just after midnight on December 30th, 2020.

Sometimes your luck falls out from beneath you, you have it all planned out - the wicked backlight sunset you intend to use to capture what should be amazing Landscape/Winterscapa images is there for you... and you arrive at the location to find out that this year has a Fall Flood the equivalent of most spring floods.

Oh Well, time for an impromptu snap and go session with the eldest who expressed interest in getting into Photography.
