Introducing..

Ashley & Nathan’s wedding day (which also happens to be some of my favourite work I’ve ever created)🫶🏻

I cried some happy tears last night while looking back at this day, then I sent off the final gallery, and now I’m just sitting here so proud of these images and so honoured that I was trusted to capture this incredible wedding in PEI for the sweetest souls ever.

These two were truly dream clients. We shared the same vision for photos and more importantly the same priorities for a wedding day. They had an evening ceremony in front of the ocean and planned the rest of the day around celebrating and spending time with the ones they love. (They also wanted Polaroids and extra film which you knowwww I’m all about!!)

I don’t want to get too cheesy but, their love honestly lit up a room and they constantly reminded me why I love what I do.

I swear, there were more tears shed at this 20 person wedding than every other wedding I’ve been to combined.

They were just so so happy (and I definitely added to the tear count a few times🥹)

Haley & Luc celebrated with their closest friends and family back in June (on one of the only semi sunny Saturdays). It was joyous, carefree, and completely centred around what matters most, these two wonderful souls finding each other🫶🏻

It was such an honour to be a fly on the wall and document this perfect day.

Truly, two of the most sweet, kind and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting🫶🏻

Do you remember that freezing cold Saturday in the middle of June that didn’t feel like June at all? Well, that was Claire and Dustyn’s wedding day (spoiler: they didn’t let that stop them from having the perfect day they’d been dreaming of).

These two got married at the beautiful with their friends and family huddled around them (with love and for warmth at times).

We were checking weather updates minute by minute but the rain ended up holding off until we are all inside sharing a cozy meal together. And honestly the cold had its perks, the first photo (aka my favourite) has a slight blur to it that I love that was definitely due to me aggressively shivering behind the camera lol

What a wonderful day that I feel so so lucky to have witnessed🥹

Congratulations again you two!!

Genuine question: how did I get here?????

How did I go from being in business school saying “hm I think I’d like to be a photographer” to being the photographer for the most incredible styled shoot I’ve ever seen? It’s wild and I went through such a rollercoaster of emotions during this day.

I can’t even put into words how amazing the team is that put this whole thing together, both as people and wedding vendors. Their ex*****on of the vision was just so much more stunning than I could have ever imagined. I’m looking at the pictures now and it’s still hard to believe they’re real!!

So please enjoy these photos of the most beautiful day and I’ll just be over here still pinching myself🤍

It’s hard to put the beauty of a fall wedding into words

(So instead I’ll try through 7 of my favourite film photos from fall weddings gone by)

The colours, the smells, the warm breeze, the soft light. Pair that with a group of family and friends overwhelmingly happy to be celebrating together. Perfect is the only way to describe it.

ok I am in a PUDDLE OF TEARS

I received a crazy amount of inquiries this week for 2023 & 2024 weddings and I am just overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ve never smiled and squealed at my phone quite this much!

I think a lot of you (and also me) have “plan a wedding” high up on the priority list of New Years goals and I’m sooo excited to be celebrating with you and documenting all the little magic moments of the day 🎞️
