I’ve been away for a while. I needed a break from the constant input of social media and being so accessible to people.

But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. Working on myself, on my daytime career, on how I show up for friends and family, on photography and editing, on creating. I’ve been working hard, I just haven’t been showing it here. I hear that’s bad for business, though, so I guess I’m back for now.

Mindy was the first person to ever buy my large format fine see prints, and ever since then we’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to work together (I’ve heard she still has those prints!). That perfect moment finally came with her engagement to the wonderful, Nick, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. This session was so much fun, and I cannot wait to capture their wedding next spring!

I had the pleasure of helping the wonderful set up for her shootout workshop on Sunday, and it was the most magical evening. I got to play with flowers and connect with other photographers in NB, and it was just what my tired, anxious soul needed.
