As prom and graduation season rolls around once again, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate the Class of 2026 as you celebrate this incredible achievement and prepare to begin the next chapter of your lives.

As Dr. Seuss famously wrote:

“You’re off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so… get on your way!”

Wherever your journey takes you, chase your dreams, embrace new opportunities, make unforgettable memories, and most importantly—celebrate safely.

Congratulations, Graduates! The adventure is just beginning. 🎉🎓✨

Standing on one of the rarest landscapes on Earth. 🌎

The Tablelands of Newfoundland are a place where the Earth’s mantle rises above the surface, creating a rugged, Mars-like landscape unlike anywhere else in Canada.

The fresh scent of the forest, the gentle ripple of the river, birds calling, and wildlife stirring along the shoreline. Add in an evening paddle, and it’s hard to imagine a better way to spend an evening.
Grateful for evenings like these 🫶

The moose are 𝕤𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕪 in Newfoundland! 😆

🫎 Moose are not native to Newfoundland. They were introduced in the early 1900s when just four moose were brought from New Brunswick.

🫎 Those four moose thrived so well that Newfoundland is now home to one of the highest moose densities in North America. There are approximately 120,000 - 150,000 moose in Nfld. They consume 40-70lbs of vegetation per day! 🌲

Towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and glacier-carved fjords that photos can barely do justice. Newfoundland, you continue to amaze us.

Seeing caribou was high on our Newfoundland road trip bucket list, so spotting this pair grazing in Gros Morne National Park felt pretty special. One of those quiet moments that makes you stop, take it all in, and appreciate just how wild and beautiful Newfoundland really is.

Caribou are native to insular Newfoundland. They naturally repopulated the island approximately 8000 years ago after the last Ice Age. As the glaciers receded, the animals migrated across the frozen Strait of Belle Isle from the Labrador/Quebec mainland, establishing the island's unique woodland caribou populations.

My daughters and I spent 9 days exploring Newfoundland on an unforgettable road trip — chasing rugged coastlines, mountain views, icebergs, puffins, and countless little adventures along the way.

This was one of the incredible stops that made us fall even more in love with this beautiful province.

Stay tuned for more breathtaking Newfoundland scenery and adventures from our road trip across this beautiful province.
