Another grad session for the books 📚✨

This session couldn’t have been more perfect. I’m so glad I got the chance to meet such amazing people. Mariam and her sister were both so kind from the moment we met. Even with the rain and thunderstorm warnings, we made the most of it and had a great time together. We met for the first time during this session, but the laughter and conversations we had made it so special.

Congratulations again, Mariam 🎓🤍 I’m so excited for all that’s ahead of you and wish you nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter.

Honorary mention to my amazing assistant, .qa who supported me throughout the shoot and took a million BTS shots. And to for letting me use her brand new camera for the day. You guys are the best!

A Community Worth Celebrating 🇨🇦

It was a pleasure capturing the Canada Day BBQ at Markaz Ul Islam, where families, friends, and neighbours came together to celebrate the spirit of community.

Mariam’s Graduation Session 🎓🤍

Life is truly just full circle moments waiting to happen. Mariam reached out right before I planned to be in Calgary, and it worked out perfectly. Despite the fact that we had a thunderstorm warning and rain during parts of the session, we made it work and got some really nice sun in between.

Graduation sessions are becoming some of my favourites. There’s something so special about seeing someone celebrate years of hard work and dedication. Education is one of those things that no one can ever take away from you, and capturing that chapter in someone’s story always means a lot. I graduated from this city years ago and I can still remember how excited I was to get my degree. I hope I never take these moments for granted.
