What can I expect if I choose Dave Scantland Photography? I will spend the first few minutes meeting you and your family, in order that your children will feel comfortable and reassured to be themselves. I want to catch a glimpse of your child the way she/he really is at this stage in her life- a reminder of his/her spirit, his/her goofiness, and of course, his/her fiery a
ttitude. Capturing these sincere expressions cannot be rushed! There will be opportunities for an outfit change and breaks, as you see fit. Newborn sessions are generally 1-2+ hours long as getting those precious sleepy images requires patience. Don't wait to book this session: day 6 or 7 is optimal, and scheduling it in before 10 days of age is strongly recommended. I will send you a note of helpful hints for your newborn session upon booking your appointment. What to wear? Clothing is an important aspect of the images, but don't feel pressured to clothe you or your family in 'Sunday best'. I want you and your children to feel comfortable and while simplicity is the key, let your child have some input into their outfit. Denim always looks good and bright colors, especially solids are great, so be bold. Long flowing skirts, stripes and polka dots are all fun! We can always change up the look with fun accessories, including hats and shades. Patterns on adults can be visually distracting, so wear with caution, and no logos or text please and thank you. For large families or group photos, choose a couple coordinating solid colors. (Navy, brown and pink, perhaps?)
If your booked for family or general with a child bring the child’s favorite toy, blanket something that raises his comfort level
If your booking bo***ir have some fun with it if you’ve got 3 outfits picked out bring your bunny ears you have sitting in the corner .most important thing is to have fun with it.
***If your booked in for either bo***ir or fitness (bikini) please try to avoid tight clothing as we don’t want to have the red lines (lulus/sweats are preferred )
After the session
Dave Scantland Photography reserves the right to use any picture in any form such as, but not limited to the use in advertising, reproduction, and copyright. I will spend two weeks- to 3 months (depending on type) custom processing the very best images from your session. Once complete, your proofs will be placed on a CD/ or memory stick

Family love: (5members or less )
Newborn and Baby bump (maternity )session:
• A pre-session consultation, And or a location viewing
• includes a maternity and newborn session, both done in the comfort of your home or a location of your choosing.
• The maternity session is approx. 1-2, and 15-18 high quality images will be presented on CDor memory stick upon editing .
• The newborn session is usually 1-2 hours long and ideally be held before baby is 14 days old.
• Images from both sessions can be chosen for your print or digital collection. \
• $200
Your session fee is required as a retainer to reserve your appointment date. The payment can be made in the form of Email Transfer, cheque and cash are all accepted. Extended family members or large group’s sessions are subject to an additional fee. Session fees cover time and talent only. Prints and digital files are sold separately
**All sessions are subject to a traveler’s fee if located outside the greater Fort McMurray region. (Average investment ranges from $800-1500.)
***Due to the custom nature of my service and products, all sales are final. Prices are subject to change, but are locked in at time of session booking for 60 days.
*** Please be advised that the my company’s (Dave Scantland Photography ) Watermark is my Copywrite signature, there for do not remove or crop out the watermark. I make these logos extremely subtle. Not only is It considered rude to a photographer to do so ,it is illegal and you may be subjected to legal ramification . If you would like photos done with out "watermarks" then please advice me before hand
