I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful young lady before she underwent scoliosis surgery 5 months ago. We captured her strength, her beauty and even the X-Rays that showed the curve in her spine. A part of her story that was about to change forever.

And now.....look at her!!!

Getting to photograph her again after surgery was incredibly special. This time those images represent more than what she was facing. They represent what she overcame.

Behind this beautiful smile is a young woman who has walked through something incredibly difficult and come out on the other side with courage, strength and a story worth celebrating.

From before surgery to after surgery. I am so thankful I was able to capture both chapters for you Emily

These are the sessions that remind me why photography means so much to me. Sometimes we aren't just taking pictures, we are preserving someone's story.

There's no place quite like home!

I recently made the trip home to Newfoundland for one of the sweetest reasons to photograph my precious great-nephew Callen for his newborn pictures.

Getting to hold him, cuddle him and capture those tiny little details that change far too quickly was so incredibly special. There's something extra meaningful about photographing your own family and knowing these pictures will forever hold a little piece of this beautiful time.

My heart is so full, but saying goodbye was definitely the hardest part. I miss that sweet little face already.

Over the next week I’ll be catching up on editing all of my recent sessions and responding to messages. Thank you so much for your patience. I can’t wait to share everyone’s galleries!

I’ve also received a huge number of emails asking about this year’s Fall Mini Sessions, and I’m so excited to announce I now have dates open!

🍂 A few important details

• There will be very limited evening appointments and these are always the first to book.

• A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session.

• No exceptions. Your booking is not confirmed until the retainer has been received.

• Photos will be selected by the photographer to ensure you receive the very best images from your session.

If you’ve been waiting for fall minis, I recommend booking asap. Once the evening spots are gone, they’re gone!
