I had the pleasure of meeting the Strands team yesterday for a business portrait session! Take a peek at a few of my favourite portraits with the amazingly talented stylists!

The moment you walk in the doors, Strands offers a welcoming environment! It's comfortable, homey and energetic! The stylists provide a variety of services, including both hair and spa treatments! Strands is a loved salon in our little Forest! But even if you don't live here in town, it's definitely worth booking a treatment!

What a beautiful day celebrating Mandy & Martin!

Their wedding took place at the Gubbels family property, a place filled with so much history: hard work, family time, and countless celebrations. There was something extra special about gathering in a place that means so much to their family. 🤍

I absolutely love seeing the unique details that make every wedding day their own, and Mandy & Martin’s day was no exception! They exchanged vows during a beautiful late-morning ceremony, followed by a delicious luncheon surrounded by their family and friends.

And, of course, their beloved dog Moo was included in all the festivities! 🐾 Moo quietly made her way around throughout the day, visiting guests and collecting plenty of smiles, pets and attention. ❤️

One of the sweetest surprises was their very own soft-serve ice cream machine! 🍦 Mandy & Martin treated their guests to ice cream throughout the celebration!

There was so much love surrounding these two, and it was such a joy to capture the beginning of their marriage! Congratulations, Mandy & Martin! Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, family, and many more celebrations together. 🤍🥂

What a beautiful evening with this lovely family! Farming is truly in their blood, so of course we had to incorporate a little bit of farm life into their family session. ❤️

We spent the evening in their hayfield as the sun began to set, and made sure to include some of their family animal family members too! 🐄🐓🐐 From their dairy cows and chickens to a couple of curious goats, these photos are a beautiful reflection of the life and memories they’re creating together on the farm.

~ The Wiendels Family ~

What a beautiful weekend for an extended family session with the Wiendels family! We met up at Rock Glen Conservation Area, and the weather could not have been more perfect! Well… almost perfect. The bugs certainly made their presence known, and I think we all spent a fair amount of time shooing them away! 😂

One of my favourite parts of extended family sessions is watching the cousins play together, and this crew was SO much fun! 10 little cousins, ranging in age from little ones to 7! 🥰 They ran, played, laughed and had the absolute best time together.

And a little behind-the-scenes note about sharing photos…

When you book with me, I always ask if you're comfortable with me sharing your images on social media and my website. If you'd prefer to keep your photos private, I will always respect that! ❤️

For this family, I was given permission to share photos of most of the family, but asked not to share photos of two of the children. I am happy to respect their wishes.
