I had the pleasure of meeting the Aitcheson family this weekend! We quickly realized our Stratfod connection, which is where I grew up!

What a beautiful way for the Aitcheson Family to spend their summers! Making memories together at their cottage on the shores of Lake Huron! Beach days with their children and grandchildren become treasured family memories!

And one of my favourite parts of this session was the rock photo at the end! Kevin and Joan️ told me it's a tradition this family has continued ever since the grandbabies were little. Each year, they gather together for a photo on this rock, and as their family grows, so does the number of people filling it! How sweet!

Reginald & Emily ~ August 29th, 2026 🤍

Yesterday, I was honoured to photograph Reginald & Emily's wedding day! Surrounded by their daughter Meredith and all of their loved ones, they exchanged their custom vows among the winding forest trails of Knottingwood.

The day began with bridal and groom preparations before heading to Knottingwood for a very special first look between Reginald, Emily, and Meredith. Then we met with Black Dog Weddings who brought their furry family members, Melody and Duro, along for some family portraits! 🐾

From there, we jumped into wedding party photos before the ceremony. Reginald simply beamed as he watched his bride approach. The couple included an oathing stone ceremony before sharing their personal vows, their first kiss, and then walking back down the aisle as Mr. & Mrs. Everitt, surrounded by bubbles from their cheering guests! 🫧🤍

The rustic barn was the perfect setting for their reception. The team at Knottingwood was phenomenal, making sure every detail was taken care of so the newlyweds could simply enjoy their day.

Their guests enjoyed a delicious meal, followed by speeches that were the perfect combination of hilarious and heartfelt, with plenty of laughter and more than a few tears!

And then, of course, the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away! My favourite part: a double father-daughter dance, between Emily and her father, and Reginald and Meredith!

Congratulations on your magical wedding day, Mr. & Mrs. Everitt! May your marriage be filled with the same love, laughter, and joy that surrounded you on this beautiful day. It was an absolute honour to be part of your celebration! 📸

I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca and Kevin at the stunning Texas Longhorn Ranch! The owners are family friends of Rebecca and Kevin and graciously welcomed us to their space for their maternity session. With its rustic charm, beautiful scenery, and gorgeous horses, it was the perfect backdrop to celebrate this exciting season of their lives.

And we couldn't forget the details that made this session uniquely them! Rebecca and Kevin brought along their cowboy hats, and the sweetest little pair of baby cowboy boots waiting for their new arrival.

When Destany reached out with the idea of a couples beach session where we could embrace the waves and get right in the water, I was SO excited!🌊

It was so sweet watching these two together last night. Their smiles were nonstop, their affection was obvious, and they were completely up for embracing the water and having some fun together!

Although the air may have been a little chilly, these two certainly knew how to keep each other warm. ❤️

Yesterday, Rylee and Jordan said “I do” at the Brown Family Farm, a place that holds so many special memories for their family!

As a little girl, Rylee dreamed of one day celebrating her wedding under the beautiful trees on the property. And while the possibility of rain meant moving the ceremony into the shop, we spent the rest of our time outdoors, surrounded by those gorgeous trees, just as Rylee had always imagined. 🤍

Jordan looked so dashing, and I don't think we could wipe the smile off his face all day! And Rylee… she was absolutely glowing in her beautiful bridal gown.

It was such a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, family, and so many meaningful moments! Congratulations, Rylee & Jordan! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and love together! ❤️

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting the Webster family for a beautiful family session at Ipperwash Beach!

Every year, this wonderful family travels from Iowa, Denver, and Chicago to spend their vacation together at their favourite cottage here in the area! What a special tradition, to have this time together each summer! ❤️

I had such a blast getting to know their family, hearing stories from their past vacations, and watching them make new memories together.

And of course, I had so much fun with the adorable kiddos, Harrison and Elliot! 🥰 Harrison reminds me so much of my eldest son at that age, which made our time together even more fun!

There is something so special about families who make the effort to come together year after year. I'm so grateful I got to capture a little piece of their annual cottage tradition. Thanks for spending part of your vacation with me, Webster family! ❤️
