Meet Fernie 🤎📸

This sweet girl has been through more than her fair share, but you’d never know it from her gentle spirit.

Fernie is currently recovering in her foster home after surgery, and every day she’s getting a little stronger and moving around a little more. 🐾

I had the chance to photograph this beautiful girl for Calgary Animal Rescue Society, and she was an absolute sweetheart in front of the camera. 🥹

Fernie isn’t quite ready for her forever home yet, but she’ll be coming up for adoption soon. Until then, she’s getting all the love, rest, and spoiling she deserves. ❤️

Lilly is currently looking for her forever home through Calgary Animal Rescue Society. She’s a gorgeous girl who is ready to find her person and start her next chapter.

One of my favourite things about photographing rescue dogs is getting to capture the personalities behind the adoption posts — and hopefully help one more pup get noticed by the right family. 🤍

Atlas turns ONE in just a few days, and what better way to celebrate than with a cake smash? 🎂✨

Getting to capture these milestones for friends is always extra special. Atlas wasn’t quite sure what to think at first, but once the cake was involved, he got the hang of it. 😂

And of course, Harper made sure she didn’t miss out on the fun. Their sweet red lab definitely understood the assignment and was more than happy to help clean up the evidence. 🐾

Hearts for Hounds 2026 ❤️🐾

Last weekend was something special.

We photographed 38 dogs at our Hearts for Hounds event — 38 wagging tails, 38 unique personalities, and 38 very loved pups. 🥹✨

From tiny snuggle bugs to big goofy smiles, every single dog brought their own magic to the lens. These are just a few of the cute faces from the weekend (I truly couldn’t pick favorites).

This event was such a success, and it’s all because of YOU — the incredible pet parents who showed up, supported, donated, and trusted me to capture your babies. 💛

Thank you for making this community so beautiful.
Thank you for supporting rescue.
Thank you for loving your dogs the way you do.

Meet Luna 🤍
These sweet photos are of Luna, a 2-year-old Lab mix currently in foster care. Here’s what her foster mom had to say about this gentle girl:

“I began fostering Luna at the beginning of December, and she has come such an incredible distance since the day we first met. She came from a background with very little interaction, but she has adapted beautifully to a busy household with cats, other dogs, and children. She’s grown especially close to her foster siblings and truly thrives on companionship.

Luna is affectionate, gentle, and eager to learn. She has a calm, kind nature and loves being a couch companion, but she also looks forward to her daily walks—especially when there are bunnies or squirrels to watch. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and happily accepts all the pets she can get.

She is wonderful with children and is always patient and gentle with them. One of her favorite parts of the day is mealtime—she sits quietly and waits until she hears, ‘Okay, let’s eat.’ Sometimes, when her bowl is empty, she carries it back to her bed as if hoping a little more might appear.

Right now, Luna is also working on gaining some healthy weight but she’s already making great progress with proper care and love.
