First marathon (maybe last lol) in the books! After hitting a wall at 37km, everything in me wanted to quit but somehow I managed to dig deep and cross the finish line at 4:02! Wasn't the sub 4 I was secretly hoping for but I am so stoked!
Probably the hardest thing I've ever done but so cool to accomplish something that seemed so out of reach just a few months ago. I couldn't have done it without my supportive husband who cheered me on through training and the whole race, and fed me chips and water at the finish line. Thank you to everyone who was cheering me on from afar and for all the words of encouragement! What a beautiful thing to work towards a goal and overcome something that scares the s**t of you! NOW, here's to slowing down for the next little while, and finally having time to do something other than run 🫶🏼
