On the day we planned to do this family photo shoot the rain kept coming. But thankfully around 7pm we were able to all gather and capture these. The love in this family was tangible! I always love meeting new faces and hearing bits of their story.

These kids were wanting a sleepover at their grandparents after this shoot - to see a younger generation wanting to be with and learn from their grandparents and spend quality time with them warmed my heart ❤️

I have such fond memories of spending time with my grandparents and spending a week at their trailer each summer and hearing them pray over every grandchild at bedtime was so special for me as a kid.

Warmer weather is finally upon us (I think?!)- that means it’s a great time to start thinking about your family photos. I personally love thrift store shopping so I start to keep my eyes out for coordinating outfits starting around now. But if you are not a thrifter- keep your eyes open for coordinating outfits so when the time comes for photos you are not scrambling!
