Shortly after celebrating my birthday, life reminded me just how quickly everything can change 😢

I was recently in a car accident (not my fault) and am focusing on recovering from my injuries. My doctor has asked me to slow down and rest, so for now I’ll be pausing sessions until I get medical clearance.

This experience has made me pause and appreciate how fragile and precious our everyday moments are. One minute life feels completely normal, doing a mundane task such as driving to the grocery store, and the next everything changes. I’ve been holding my children a little tighter and feeling so incredibly grateful that I’m still here to watch them grow and make memories with them. Every day we wake up healthy really is a gift!

There’s one thing I need to say from the heart: PLEASE PUT THE PHONE DOWN while driving. One small moment of distraction can change someone’s life forever. No message is more important than the people waiting for you at home, and it’s not worth causing bodily harm to someone else!

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding while I take this time to heal ❤️

There is something so special about a mom and her son. I loved this session so much and I was so glad when mom reached out to book it!

Her love and tenderness for her son was apparent the moment I met them! Her eyes glimmered with joy looking at him!

These photos matter, because one day she will look at them and remember exactly how it felt to stand next to her growing boy. To still be his safe place!

A mother’s love does not get smaller as her son grows.

It only grows with him!

I had such a great time photographing this beautiful family! So glad we crossed paths!

Looking forward to the upcoming mountain session season. Warm evenings, stunning sunsets and lots of play with the kiddos ❤️

I have been photographing this sweet family yearly for six years now and to say I adore them is an understatement. The love they bring into every session is so special. Just happy to be together. I always leave our sessions with the biggest smile and a heart so full of gratitude and love ❤️

We were welcomed by a storm just as we got to the location but luckily we decided to wait it out and got rewarded with such a beautiful sunset!

I will be opening my 2026 books in the coming weeks with a very limited number of sessions. This upcoming year I need to slow down and soak in more time with my family!

When our kids are little we grab the camera all the time, but as they grow we forget. These years matter just as much.bThey’re finding their own way, stepping into their own world, and that deserves to be held close too.

These moments with your older babies are worth remembering. Always. Please don’t stop taking the photos just because the kids get older ❤️
