Hello, beautiful humans! 👋🏻💚
It has been quite some time since I have shown up here consistently.
During my time away, I thought a lot about Lunar Grove, social media, creativity, business... and myself.
For a long time, I tried to separate everything I did into neat little boxes. Photography belonged here. Magic belonged there. Writing somewhere else. Art, community, motherhood, homeschooling, my strange little interests and whatever creative endeavor had currently taken hold of my brain... surely all of those things couldn't exist in the same place 😅
Trying to maintain all of those separate pieces eventually exhausted me.
Over the last few months, I found myself in a completely different corner of the internet, writing and creating without an agenda. I stopped worrying so much about what I should post and started sharing what actually interested me.
Poetry. Photography. Art. Magic. Nature. Horror. Books. Personal reflections. Weird thoughts. Digital magazines. Things I was creating simply because I wanted to create them.
And somewhere along the way, I realized how much I had missed showing up as myself.
So... I'm bringing that energy home to Lunar Grove 💚
This page will still have photography. Yes, I am still photographing! There have been some changes, especially around bo***ir, and I'll share more about those soon.
There will still be witchcraft, moon magic, card pulls, rituals, and all the strange and wonderful things that have lived within Lunar Grove for years.
But you'll also see my writing as J. Ell Nightfall, my digital publications, art, nature, books, horror, creative projects, things from The Campfire shop, random thoughts, and whatever else happens to wander through my brain.
Basically... Lunar Grove is allowed to contain all of Lunar Grove now 😅💚

The Campfire is where we can actually gather. Share what we're creating, talk about magic, art, books, photography, nature and weird things, ask questions, discover new projects, participate in community pieces, and simply enjoy each other's company.
If you've been part of the group for years, you're already around the fire 💚 If you haven't joined us yet, you're absolutely welcome to pull up a chair.
The page and group will share the same general vibe from here on out. The page will remain the main home of Lunar Grove Studio, while The Campfire is where the community gets to gather around it.
No more trying to maintain seventeen different versions of myself for seventeen different corners of the internet 🤣
