Playing dress up with friends in your 30s is still a hit. Shawnte and I dreamed this up over weeks, both in the late stages of our pregnancies. We live a few doors down from each other, so getting to take these in the neighbourhood where we’ll raise our babies makes them that much more special.

My badass girlfriend is pregnant with twins, and I couldn’t be more in awe of her. So naturally, we had to make something a little dramatic and editorial out of it.

Can you EVEN?! I have been so obsessed with these and have been dying to share them. Looking at them now, you’d never guess we spent the entire hour being eaten alive by mosquitoes.

I have known Natalie since high school, and I was so excited when she reached out to me to document her second pregnancy. It had been years since I’d seen her, and how beautiful it was to witness her in this stage of life. Pure love surrounded them. I’m so excited for your next chapter, my love!

Let me tell you about my husband.

I fell in love with his heart and his smile, the way his hugs consume you. He is sweet as honey, kind and compassionate. This man can make you laugh for days, even when you don’t feel like it or it doesn’t seem appropriate. I’ve never told him this, but it’s my favourite thing about him, even if I protest.

He always finds the good, the happiness, something to be excited about. He’s constantly learning new things, enjoying the world bit by bit.. I’m so proud of him, always. I would be nowhere without him, as a mother, as a human. This man changed my life in the best ways and I’m never letting him go.

Happy birthday, my love. You’re the best part of my days and I hope today is as special as you are. 🎂

“Our Greatest Production Yet”

I’ve been longing to do something a little different and fun. Something that felt a little unexpected and cinematic. When Jasleen asked me to help plan their session, I immediately suggested the movie theatre - hoping and praying she would say yes. She then told me their first date was at the movies. It was written in the stars.

I don’t think this idea could have found a more perfect couple. You two brought it to life in a way I never could have imagined 🍿
