I had some time off for a bit today so I took off to Ponoka at ye local 'Hamm's Mercantile Thrift Shop' A lovely shop to be sure and so affordable. The lady in charge was so kind. After a while she was able to leave after the owner showed up. He began to tell me the history of the store which was a bakery before they owned it six years ago. After a time he gave me the 25¢ tour. It was unreal. I thought there was just a limited amount of space in the back of the shop but oh no it wasn't to be. It was loaded with a huge amount of old vintage stuff all on shelves. I was gob smacked. It was truly an interesting tour. Sometimes I have to pinch myself with the things that I get into and the amazing people that I meet. This thrift shop is something that I will come back to do some more shopping to be sure!
