2022 Canadian Rally Championship calendar has been announced!

The organisers of the Rocky Mountain Rally would like to announce that the rescheduled event will take place on October 8/9, 2021, the weekend following the Pacific Forest Rally, still based in Cochrane, Alberta. Recce will be held on Friday, October 8th with the rally competition all on Saturday the 9th.

While the back-to-back events will create some challenges, it also provides a rare opportunity for Eastern teams to attend two events in a single tow across the country, and maybe even take some time between the events to visit Canada’s beautiful Mountain Parks. We will also be working with local businesses and venues to ensure that teams will be able to effectively re-prep their cars between the two events.

The stages being used for this year’s Rocky Mountain can be considered some of the smoothest roads in Canadian rally, but don’t confuse that with being an easy event. The 34km long Powderface Trail is considered to be one of the most challenging and beautiful stages in the country by the country’s most experienced drivers.

Our registrar will be reaching out to entered teams to see if they want their entry to remain and reserve a spot on the entry list, or if they want to cancel and re-enter closer to the event. While we may be able to increase our competitor numbers in October, we are still expecting to exceed our entry limit.

Les reconnaissances auront lieu le vendredi 8 octobre et la compétition de rallye aura lieu le samedi 9 octobre.

Bien que les événements consécutifs créent des défis, ils offrent également une occasion rare aux équipes de l'Est d'assister à deux événements en un seul passage à travers le pays, et peut-être même de prendre du temps entre les événements pour visiter les magnifiques parcs des montagnes du Canada. Notre registraire contactera les équipes inscrites pour voir si elles souhaitent que leur inscription reste et réservent une place sur la liste des inscrits, ou si elles veulent annuler et revenir plus près de l'événement. Bien que nous soyons en mesure d'augmenter le nombre de nos concurrents en octobre, nous nous attendons toujours à dépasser notre limite d'inscription.

Sprint Race Weekends

The Race Season is nearly upon us, and we thought we would send you some posters that lay out the schedule in an easy to follow fashion, for our upcoming Sprint Race and Endurance race season.

Castrol Raceway believes they will be able to operate participant-based events in May. We are planning to go ahead on that basis, but if Alberta Health recommendations change we may be required to change plans and dates. You will not be charged for the event should we have to cancel it. NASCC will keep you advised. We recommend you not book any flights, rooms, or rentals that you can not cancel, should the Health recommendations lead to a postponement.

Registration is open for the TestnTune on May 15th, 2021.

Round 1 details! Like the CRC's traditional opening round, Rallye Perce Neige (officiel) - Maniwaki,Quebec, this first event in the virtual CRC challenge will be a test of endurance with a sting in its tail. Keep it between the snowbanks to get through the long forest stages and back to service. First round starts on Friday, May 15th!
