There are a million things happening on a wedding day… but I’ll always make time for moments like this. 🥹📸

This little one wanted to take photos, so down on the floor we went, learning the camera, finding the shot, and capturing a few memories of their own.

Because photography has given me so much more than photos. It’s taught me to notice the little things, find beauty in ordinary moments, and understand just how important it is to document the people we love.

So if the next generation shows even the tiniest spark of wanting to create, I’ll always encourage it.

I’ll always hand them the camera.
I’ll always show them how.
I’ll always remind them that their perspective matters.

Teach the next generation to capture the memories, because one day, those photographs might mean everything. 🤍📸

And who knows… maybe I just met a future wedding photographer. 🥹

Hilary + Austin: proof your wedding photos don’t have to be serious to be beautiful. 🤍

This day was equal parts sentimental, chaotic, hilarious and completely them.

Cowboy boots. A red dress uniform. Old Milwaukee. Running through fields. Belly laughs. Questionable decisions after dark. And approximately one million moments that couldn’t have been posed if we tried.

These are the moments I want to photograph.

Not just the perfectly posed, everyone-look-at-the-camera moments.

Give me the messy veil.
Give me the running through the grass.
Give me the blurry laughter.
Give me the weird s**t you do when you forget there’s a camera pointed at you.

Because 20 years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what your wedding looked like.

I want you to remember how fun it felt.

And apparently, I also want photographic evidence of the groom fighting for his life against a bug during golden hour. 😂

The kind of wedding day that felt like it belonged in a movie.

From the quiet little moments before the ceremony, to exchanging rings, dancing in the sunshine, sneaking away as the sun disappeared behind the trees, and ending the evening completely wrapped up in each other, their day was full of those moments you never want to rush.

And can we talk about that golden hour?! The reflections, the bridge, the dress, the way these two look at each other… absolute magic. ✨

Some wedding days are beautiful because of all the details. Others are beautiful because you can genuinely feel how much two people love each other.
