The Little White School in St. Albert, AB.

It was built as a two-room school between 1946-1948 in St. Albert to help with the population growth and overcrowding at the Father Mere School after WWII.

It was named "The Father Jan School" and used as an elementary/kindergarten school until June 1987.

Father Jan was a Parish priest in the city from 1926-1930.

Then in December 1989, the city purchased the building to be used as part of the Musée Héritage Muséum and officially named it the "Little White School."

Today, it is a historical site used for tours and special events - one of the classrooms has even been preserved as a 1940's classroom.

It is adjacent to the St. Albert Tennis Club and managed by the Arts and Heritage Foundation.
