My name is Joel, and I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I sincerely hope you find pleasure in viewing my work; I sure enjoy making it! Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I've been old enough to hold a camera. As a child growing up on the backwoods of Northern Ontario, I would take pictures of family, animals, landscapes or whatever else that w
as interesting at the time; often with only a cheap Kodak disposable camera. When I was 14 years-old, my aunt gave me her old Nikon FE, a 50mm 1.8 and a few rolls of film. I'm not sure what it was, but that camera sparked something in me, and ever since, I've been "the guy with the camera". I still have that Nikon, and enjoy the challenges of film from time to time. However, I truly appreciate how the digital image sensor and computerized post-production have revolutionized the way we look at our world. I firmly believe that photography is an ever-evolving realm of the creative arts, and thus I strive to constantly improve upon my photography skills. I welcome new challenges and look forward to working with new clients to create memorable images!
