Pratt and Whitney Canada Dornier 328Jet departing Montreal-YHU.
This is the only 328Jet registered in Canada and is used as an employee shuttle for Pratt and Whitney.
The aircraft is based in YHU and flies regularly to Toronto and Windsor Locks.

Lufthansa Airbus A340-600 is sadly retiring. I was fortunate enough to fly this iconic aircraft once, and I even spotted her both in Frankfurt and Montreal. I was even lucky enough to see her at the airside and spot her deicing! Saying goodbye is always difficult, but this aircraft has undoubtedly left its mark on aviation history.

The end of an era today as Lufthansa flies its final scheduled A340-600 flights.

I thought it would be appropriate to share my Lufthansa A346 experience as I was lucky enough to fly it, spot her in both Frankfurt and Montreal. And even got some nice close up airside action.

Air France is the last remaining airline that operates the Airbus A318 in the world. The airline currently operates 4 of the type but they are slowly retiring the fleet in favour of the Airbus A220-300.
The A318 is the smallest Airbus aircraft with only a total of 80 ever built.

Here is 2 examples in action in Toulouse. It does look oddly small, I am glad to have seen them!

Airbus A330-700 Beluga departing Toulouse.
This aircraft is used to transport aircraft parts from across Europe to Toulouse where they are assembled.

This aircraft is similar to Boeing's 747 Dreamlifter... They both look weird and are both important to the production of aircraft.

It has been another busy summer at Montreal-Trudeau. There has been a bunch of aircraft changes and new routes making for this to be a very exciting summer for spotting!

The world's FIRST A350 Freighter (A350-1000F) on the roll out at Toulouse airport after a nearly 9 hour test flight over France. This livery is fantastic, definite highlight of the trip!

Pratt & Whitney Canada Boeing 747SP arriving back after another test flight over Quebec. Fall colours is finally out making for a beautiful background.

C-GTFF is my all time favourite aircraft (with his brother; C-FPAW being a close 2nd). It amazes me that Montreal is home to the last remaining 747SP's in the world!
I try to catch these aircraft every chance I can but it is often very difficult....
