Hi, I’m Kathleen. I’m a Canadian artist, photographer and creator. Art is therapeutic for me. Creativity is something that has to be a part of my every day life. I’m lucky enough to have the platforms and resources to always be creating, whether it be through work or in my spare time. Having the ability to express my thoughts and emotions through art is something I’m very grateful for. The feeling

of sitting down at a desk with a blank sheet of paper, ready to let the paint brush flow is something very wonderful. Or taking a somewhat boring space and adding a subject, playing with lighting and colour, creating a photo to remember. I can’t imagine life any other way. August, the gladiolus. A symbol of strength, integrity and infatuation.

I’m a little bit jealous of all you who call this birth flower your own. It’s one of my favourite flowers in general but also so enjoyable to paint. Ruffled, wavy petals and all. I love the detail involved💕

I cannot believe we are at the end of June🤯 this month has been a very busy one for me and I’ve been lacking on the social media posts😬 but I couldn’t let the month end without keeping up with my birth flower posts.

The beautiful Rose is the flower of June. Couldn’t help but paint these in a classic red. Kind of fitting for Canada Day celebrations tomorrow❤️

Lots of new prints in the shop today! And guess what…

They’re on sale✨

Last year I switched the paper I use for my art prints. I made the transition from poster quality to a beautiful museum quality paper, better known as giclée.

But because my printer can only fit a paper width of 8.5 inches, I wasn’t able to upgrade my 11x14 prints. So I continued to outsource them with a local printer like always.

Fast forward to now—I am in the process of upgrading my PRINTER this time round and excited to be introducing 11x14 size prints on the beautiful giclée paper very, very soon!

What does all of this mean for you?

I need help clearing out of all my current 11x14 prints which means I’m offering them to YOU at a mega reduced price of $15 EACH. For reference, this size print is normally listed at $40 a pop.

Hand painted planters have become one of those collections that I’m able to really spend dedicated time on each year. Probably because they’re in season during a less chaotic time of year for me (ie. Christmas) and I’m able to enjoy each part of the process a little more.

This year’s collection was my biggest one to date and I was grateful for how they were received by all of you🤍 as a little thank you, I’m offering the collection at a discounted price from now until Mother’s Day (May 10th).
