🎓Ok grad parents, the email went out and I know you are jonesing to get your kid signed up for their grad photos in the mobile studio where you have a 10-minute time slot and they capture a mediocre photo 😳

Yes, they need a photo for the yearbook, but please let me save you from ordering photos that are just OK. There is another option.

I have black caps and gowns and can do grad photos ANYTIME during the year. Please, DO NOT settle for photos that you don’t 100% love.

I know your kids, I’ve been photographing them for years. I absolutely PROMISE to get beautiful photos that you can plaster all over your walls when they go away next year!

Parents, let’s get real. I just navigated grad 2025 with twins, and it was a whirlwind of surprises. This time, with my 2026 grad, I’m ready for the ride! From grad events to post-high school plans, it’s a year packed with big decisions and emotions—pride, joy, and a bit of bittersweet loss all mixed together.

Here’s my advice: hold on tight, because this year flies by! Over the next few weeks, I’ll share tips on capturing your grad’s final high school moments with photos that freeze this chapter in time. Let’s make these memories last! 📸

🎓 Grad season has been an absolute whirlwind (and it isn’t done yet!) 📸

As a photographer, I’m always chasing the perfect shot, but this year’s been extra special—two of my kids are graduating! 🥳

Between capturing grads in their caps and gowns, taking photos of beautiful grads in the park, and cheering at the SDSS red carpet walk, I’ve been stretched thin. My camera’s working overtime, but my social media? Not so much. 😓

I promise to start posting some beautiful images of some of my favourite humans very soon so stay tuned!

Grad photo re-do session!

Let’s face it, school yearbook grad photos are mediocre at best. They are often shot on a tight timeline with formulaic poses.

The alternative:

📸 A 30 minute session where I will capture authentic and unique photos of your grade 12 grad that you will be thrilled to hang up on your wall.

Want a re-do on your cap and gown photos? I don’t blame you! The standard yearbook photos seem a bit ‘meh’ compared to what your grad photo could look like. Word on the street is that SDSS grad gowns and caps are landing tomorrow…I still have a few spots left! DM me ASAP to secure a space. And please forward to anyone who got stuck with just “OK” grad photos!
