There’s something so special about watching an engagement session turn into a wedding day, and then watching that wedding day turn into a growing family 🥹

Sarah and JJ have been in front of my camera since 2020, and it has been such an honour to photograph their story through these seasons of life. From two people excited to marry their best friend, to now chasing around the sweetest, cheekiest little baby, getting to document these milestones for them feels incredibly special!

We photographed their family session at Belkerke Farm and Orchard this spring, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect setting. It’s one of my favourite wedding venues and photo locations in the Tillsonburg area!

The best part of this job will always be getting to watch my couples grow, change and make new memories together, while I get to preserve a little piece of it all for them 🤍

So beyond obsessed with Cassie and Derrick’s wedding day 🥹

Cassie and Derrick said their “I do’s” on a gorgeous sunny day at Otter Creek Golf Club before we headed into Otterville with their wedding party for portraits at The Mill. The rain kept us on our toes all day, but these two had one spot they were really hoping to visit: Coal Line (iykyk!)

If you know Otterville, you know Coal Line is one of those absolutely magical roads. The massive trees create the most beautiful canopy overhead, and it is SO romantic. The forecast was daunting enough that we almost skipped it, but Cassie and Derrick trusted me, took the risk, and we went for it!

And I am SO glad we did!! 😍

Sometimes the best photos happen when you embrace a little uncertainty, trust your photographer (😉) and make a run for it between the rain clouds. These two walked away with so many beautiful photos at one of their favourite spots, and I’d say it was more than worth it!

A HUGE thank you to Cassie and Derrick for having me as your photographer and trusting me to capture such an incredible day. It was seriously the best day everrrrrrr, and I feel so lucky I got to be there for it all! ❤️

Okay, so I’m only about THREE YEARS late sharing these… 😂

and I grew up together and bonded over our shared love of horses, and fun fact - one of my very first professional photo sessions back in high school was with Sarah and her horse Duke! One photo from that session even ended up being published in a magazine, which was pretty freakin’ cool!

So when she got Duchess, I was SO excited to get to photograph the two of them together and celebrate the start of a new chapter!

It was absolutely, ridiculously HOT when we did this session, but we had the best time hanging out in the pasture, soaking up the evening and capturing these two together.

I’m also learning that I should probably stop letting beautiful sessions sit in my archives for three years before sharing them 😂

Still over here SWOONING over Owen and Nicole’s beautiful Toronto wedding day!!
😍

One of my favourite parts of this job is sending off a wedding gallery because it means my couples get to relive one of the most meaningful days of their lives all over again. Last week, it was Owen and Nicole’s turn, and revisiting these photos had me smiling from start to finish.

Their wedding was elegant, intimate, and so full of emotion. My favourite moment had to be their first look at Nicole’s parents’ home. Surrounded by beautiful trees and lush greenery, they saw each other for the first time and had us photographers tearing up right alongside them. It was such a beautiful reminder that, at the end of the day, weddings are simply about marrying your best friend.

Owen and Nicole, thank you for trusting us to capture such a special chapter of your story. Congratulations again! I hope these photos always take you right back to every laugh, every happy tear, and every unforgettable moment.

Florals matter WAY more than most couples think when it comes to your photos!

Yes, they’re gorgeous in person, but they do a LOT more than just get carried around all day by a bride and bridesmaids!

They add texture, colour, and so much beauty! Good florals pull everything together and make your whole day look magazine-worthy.

Kate and Rob’s Elm Hurst wedding at was the definition of elegant, romantic, fairytale MAGIC!!! ✨
The day started warm and humid with soft drizzle and overcast skies. And then… just after their ceremony ended… the sun came out!!

We were gifted the DREAMIEST golden glow for their Just Married portraits!!! It was one of those moments where you just look at the sky and think, okay wow, this is meant to be!!

I so loved Kate and Rob’s wedding day 🥹 And I’m already looking forward to another amazing year of weddings like theirs!!
